This. I'm not here to knock Agiles...they're great for the price...but the resale value will kill you if you ever try to sell it. You'll lose a few hundred on the Agile, while you'll get pretty much all your money back on the used Gibby.

OP, theres a used Gibson Explorer Gothic at the GC in Greenwood Indiana for under $500. Looked at it yesterday, needs a little rehab of the finish, but still decent. Might call them and check in o it.

Gibson pisses me off with the explorer. I want one (maybe white or black) with rear-rout so no plastic covering 1/4 the front and with a bound neck with something besides generic dot inlays. That's it and it's simple. The only time they've ever done this as far as I know is the "robot explorer," and it's only available in fucking red (which I DO NOT want) and costs as much as two regular explorers just because of that damn novelty auto-tuner crap (if you can't tune your guitar and are so full of retard that you need the guitar itself to do it for you then stop playing now).

They can never make that perfect one for me. If I get the Robot one, have it repainted, and gut it of the useless electrics and drop in better pups, I might as well buy a custom Les Paul. Screw that.
