As Christians we are tought to accept every one regardless of race, creed, sexual orientation what have you. Also its not our place to judge. So saying Christians are bigots is unfounded and a bold faced lie. I have child hood friends who are gay. I don't treat them any different than my straight friends. It's the missinformed and those who don't understand or want to understand what Christianity is all about. we even except the ones who accuseus of being bigots. When they are the bigots themselves. I have friendsvof several religions and backgrounds and races. It's the generalizationof one bad Apple or misguided soul in the public eye. That gives the rest of us a bad name and the victims of false accusations.

yes, it is sad that a 14 year old killed himself. it is sad when anyone reaches that pit of despair and feels that their is no way out except to end it all. i have been there many times, and tried 7 or 8 times through my teens and early 20's. thankfully i failed or was found in time, everytime, because life is a gift.

3reach, you should be mourning the fact that the boy took his own life. in the end it really does not matter why. bullying sucks. i am a middle school teacher and schools are given VERY strict guidelines in how we actually can deal with bullying. it is not that schools don't want to help...it is more that schools really can't help unless an adult witnesses the bullying or the victimsw parents want to push the issue enough.
