Dan Erlewine book question

Does anyone here know anything about a new edition of How To Make Your Guitar Play Great by Dan Erlewine?

I have seen a few people here recommend the book, so I looked it up. There is a new edition that was supposedly published in July that now includes info on pickup swaps, pots, capacitors, switches, etc. This is the info I'm most interested in learning, but I cannot find the new edition available anywhere.

That's not entirely true. Amazon has it for Kindle, and they have 1 copy in paperback for $114. Just wondering if anyone had it, or knew anywhere it was available for a reasonable price in book form.

I have the previous version, and it's good, but I think you may get more mileage out of the Guitar Player Repair Guide; the most recent version is even better than it's predecessor. Pretty much covers what's in the "play great" book and a ton more.

I wish these were available legitimately as ebooks. As a pack rat ebooks are just better for me as they don't take up the space...

I had both and I disagree with Sully, I kept the Guitar Player Repair Guide but wish I had sold that and kept How to make your guitar play great instead.

I got an e-mail from the author that said the new edition of Make your guitar play great (which included the pickup swaps, switches, pots, etc) would be coming out next year. I didn't want to wait, so I went with the repair guide.

Repair Guide showed up today. A quick look through the index shows that it has what I was looking for, so I'm happy.
