Well, that's really cheap I guess. You've been a smoker since I'm here at least, it's not like you have to get a new glass bong every week. Unless you reallly love to do the funky chicken...
But the dead bug trick should work anyway. Not cleaning it should help as well.
On the other hand, I've seen teens use bongs I'd not poke with a stick.
