USA to UK shipping

I would really appreciate some help
A great friend is letting me have a Jackson at a fantastic price....
he's in Ohio and I'm in Manchester UK
Any advice on the best courier to use from your experience
costs pitfalls etc ...

USPS Express Guaranteed is the best way to get things to UK from the States however there is a size restriction on the box. It allows for tracking too which you only get otherwise with Fedex/UPS but those are much much more costlier.

You can also go USPS Priority but you forfeit tracking and insurance but it's cheaper - make sure that guitar box is thick and the case on the inside is perfectly packed. It's a bit slower ~1-2 weeks but this is manageable by most.
