  • What is your top 5 go to songs when you need cheering up?

This isn't a competition of who's better etc. I am curious what your top 5 songs are that you as an individual go to when you need an emotional boost.
In the future though I need to remember to not buy guitars while on Nyquil

You should probably list your top 5 first...

well, in an indirect answer.... Every new years day (morning), usually being a tad hung over - I like to play very loudly the entire 'heaven and hell' album, works for me.

Don't have a top 5, I can get into a cheery mood if I hear a 'good' song it could be
Joe Jackson's "Steppin' out", or VH "Running with the devil", or even Chris Rea's "Tell me there's a Heaven", whatever

It all depends on the situation/circumstances
"There's nothing taking away from the pure masculinity I possess"

                      -"You like Anime"

                      "....crap!"

                          "She's Gone" by Black Sabbath

                          Verdi's "Requiem"

Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here"

                          Metallica "Nothing Else Matters"

They won't make you feel any better, but will help you hit the bottom quicker. The only way is up after that, or you can snog a shotgun and put an end to it all.

Oh, you can add that Lou Reed/Metallica shit too, that's enough to make you want to end it all.
So I woke up,rolled over and who was lying next to me? Only Bonnie Langford!

                          I nearly broke her back
