The part that gets me is most of those people don't even get called or call themselves "artists" any more and just go by the label of "entertainers."

I guess having entire sub-industries of choreographers deciding every step they take with big-ass pointless dance troupes and songwriters helping them create their "art" for them while everyone's wired into karaoke and lip-synching to the the real music playing are taking effect.

I miss the days when musicians played raw and no one had shit plugged into their ears. I guess clubs are the only place for that now (except for ones with DJ's turning every 4-minute song into 30-minute dance tracks that all have the same beat).
