I have only 5 "keeper" guitars. Guitars I bought years ago..mostly in '95. Some don't have any hours on them..minutes really.
I have OCD, I hord shit, and don't use stuff I like..so I'll never have to buy another one. Not just guitars..pretty much everything.
Edit: But I am going to buy a Gibson LP standard or "traditional, and I always wanted a YJM Strat..but I'd love to have a large headstock. Those would be added to the "keeper" list. Besides 7 is a good number. I gave up 7 strings and gave my DR-7 to my son who's putting it to good use. Honestly, 7 strings are not for me. They just don't feel right IMO. I tune down to D standard anywhoo...my Peavey can go to drop C. So sounding "evil" isn't an issue. Besides, I make a banjo sound evil..
