Anyone seen this yet? I had a chance to watch it last night, and thought it was amazing. I'm a huge fan of the novel, and enjoyed the BBC serialisation from the 70s, but the film blew me away. It's amazing how well they managed to pack all the important parts of the story into little over 2 hours. And the sense of paranoia and griminess was amazing. Endy, I'm think you might like this, even though it's not by nor influenced by Kurosawa
