I... bought three songs by Bullet for my Valentine on Itunes...

There I fucking said it! This isn't easy you know...

I had been listening to so much Cannibal Corpse and so much growl cachunkcachunk that those melodies seduced me... I know there's no excuse for it, I didn't mean for this to happen...

And I know some of you will ask me in a disappointed tone "Couldn't you have just pirated that shit?" and the answer really is probably yes... but I didn't. I paid for them. All three songs.

I'm sorry I have let you all down.

Just please refrain from beating me with sticks... again...

I've got Murder Ballads and Kicking against the pricks. The Carnival Is Over is one of my all time favorite songs, his version to me is the best

Nick Cave's voice has always grated on me. Less the tone and more his difficulty singing in tune. Although as it mellows & matures, it has become more palatable.

Having said that, The Ship Song rocks.

they're just a hot topic band that combines screaming with singing. their music is kinda metal, kinda melodic - sort of like "in flames"-lite (to me, anyway). why it would be bad to buy their songs? well, probably because their fan-base seems to be about 16 years old....

Theyre basically the Justin Bieber of the screamo/ melodic metal world. Not a one of their fans is over 17, except eakinj. Seriously though, theyre ok I guess but they seem to really be a mix up of Fallout boy and Avenged Sevenfold. Having said this, I am fan of Atreyu for the most part. Pretty similar to Bullet, but with less whiny emo lyrical content. At least its that way on The Curse, Im not familiar with any other Atreyu stuff.

I don't own albums by either, but I feel the exact opposite... everything I've heard from Atreyu seems like whiny emo crap (especially with the regular singer, but the drummer actually sings better) and everything I've heard from BFMV I think is decent.
