Not sure what changed, but until recently Fedex has been my preferred shipper.
Last package I shipped looked like it had been gang-raped by both UPS and USPS.
Guess someone doesn't understand just WHY they were once on top???
Time to triple-box and go for whoever is most convenient.

I don't condone it, but from all the buzz this is getting I expected to see something much worse than that. If that item was packaged proper, I'd guess it survived fine. The distribution center gorillas likely do much worse than that. What I learned from that vid is to keep packaging items with care and lots of padding.
BTW, I kidded with our daily FedEx delivery guy at work about the vid. He hadn't seen it yet, but has heard lots of folks talking about it. He's a good guy and does a great job.
Anyway, I wonder:
What will happen to that guy's job?
