  • A couple short vids of me shooting guns on 04/06/12

The pistol vid is me and the Remington 1911 R1 Enhanced .45 at 35 feet. I know the depth perception in the vid makes it look closer than that, but, I assure you it was 35 feet at my toes from the target. I pulled one shot ,but, it was still acceptable. The rest were an okay group. I can shoot better ,but, until recently, I havent shot a gun for almost 10 years or so. It snagged one round during the feeding process at the end of this. I will polish the feed ramp and it will be fine after that. I love the trigger on this gun....

The AR/M4 vid is open sights at a 100 yard target with a 9" diameter using 5.56mm FMJ 55 grain round. This is the Windham Weaponry model. Its the old Bushmaster owner and old employees. They made some improvements over the original Bushmasters......especially in the trigger area. It feels like a good bolt action rifle.....and just keeps getting better and better.....I think I have about 400-500 rounds through it at this point. It was too far away for the phone cam to see it, so you get just a side view of me. Nothing ever hit near the outer edge of the target. The closest one may have been around 2-2 1/2" from the edge. I forgot to take a table to shoot off of so we did it off a soft toneau cover.....it bounced like a trampoline.-Lou

You're letting go of the trigger too quickly. :P

Let the rifle finish it's recoil cycle before releasing and your flier rate will drop noticeably.
