The one and only good thing about playing the devils, it's never easy, is that when they play in
the devils building, it's half Ranger fans, so home ice is not that outstanding for the devils.
Rangers in another 7, they're not great, outside of henrik, but they're just enough to get by it seems.
They bottled up the caps pretty well last night, but they still can;t score.

As for the Ovi/Crosby comparisons (they'll probably never go away)...I lean more toward Shawn's take on it. Ovi plays like a kid whereas the "kid" has definitely matured in his style to a much greater extent. As for the goodwood rebuttal, I never really thought of Crosby as reckless but I see what you're saying...he does take more chances than he probably should. That said, I'm not sure how you can say that about Sid without saying it about Ovi...IMO he throws his body around fairly recklessly and goes for some big hits when they really aren't necessary...he's a definite candidate for a separated shoulder. They both take their fair share of shots but Crosby seems to do so in more of an annoying, pesky, get-in-your-head kind of way whereas Ovi holds nothing back and goes for kill shots. In a nutshell though, hockey is lucky to have two dynamic young players (as well as Malkin, Stamkos, and a few others) like those guys.

oh...as far as Crosby as reckless....perhaps goodwood is meaning he doesn't shy away from difficult areas of the ice? That is one think I like about the guy, he'll get his nose dirty and not afraid to take the hit. Maybe he'll have to change that with the concussions he's had. Soccer is disgraceful the way they dive. Ruining a great sport that I have never enjoyed watching but loved playing...perhaps I never enjoyed watching it because every time I did try watching I'd see all of the fake diving crap going on or the 'appealing to the refs' or far out things like that dude biting the other dude's dong and the Zidane head butt to the chest of an opponent.

the devils were everywhere tonight, totally beat the Rangers to every puck or corner by a step
for almost all 60 minutes, I'm having a little bit of doubt about this series, and i was confident before game 1,
but the Rangers have won 1.5 of the first 6 periods.
Even though 3 goals were put in, the rangers could of lost that one 7 or 8-2, henrik truly is that great.
at least they get 2 days off now, i think it will help the team, they are getting awfully outskated so far.
just what my eyes have seen these first 2 games, lucky to be tied going across the river.

Phoenix will lose the series. They're back to their usual form of fucking up as many plays as they can. The refs aren't "helping" the Coyotes in this series.
