well, it's obvious the NHL would love and L.A. -NY series, but what i have seen this post season is that you can count on nothing,
and the Kings, no matter how great they are playing , have not won yet. the wear and tear of the first two series showed last night on the rangers
and they still had a chance to steal both of the first two games. they need this extra day of rest before saturday afternoon. the devils
are no pushovers, i think theyare far more dangerous than the sens and caps who both took it to the limit on the rangers, plus they hate each other, that
is always a good equalizer, but the Rangers have thoroughly surpised me this year, so many 1st and 2nd year guys, i'm very proud of them.

it's official, the L.A. Kings are Skynet, and Skynet is now self aware. I can only hope the Rangers get by the devils somehow, and that Skynet sweeps the Coyotes so they are off for over a week and they some how, someway, cool off.

Agreed, that hit was 100% lewis' fault. Stupid to put yourself in that position. At most it shouldve been a 2 min boarding call. The problem is, the ref called it a major, and any major where theres an injury or blood is an automatic game misconduct. Terrible call.

I said very early in the season this year that soon players will be intentionally putting themselves in a bad position in order to harvest penalties/ejections. It will become the new version of the tumbleweed dive.

If Henrik Lundqvist were a Red Wing, Penguin, Canuck, hell even a San Jose' Shark, he'd have a couple of cups already.
The Rangers got outskated for almost 2 full periods again today, but much like game 1, they had to win a 20 minute hockey game again thanks to the King's exploits, he really is that great.
If they scored hockey like a boxing match by round, or by period, i have the Devils up 7 -2 of the 9 periods played. maybe 6.5 to 2.5.
Somehow the Rangers pulled this one off today. I really had my doubts for the rest of the series after that 1st period, i oddly let the fear creep right in,
i convinced myself that they are just totally spent from the first 2 rounds, and they took my fear and shoved it right in my face, great job boys!!!
Can't believe they are up 2-1. If not for that incredibly beautiful goal by Clarkson at the end of the 2nd period in game 2, the Rangers go into that 3rd period up 2-1, and could possibly be up 3 games to 0, and at the very same time, the devils could be up 3-0. What a sport hockey is eh????
