I hate the Flyers like I hate no other sports franchise, and I hate Hartnell like I hate no other Flyer...yet I still hope they sweep the Pens for no other reason than the Pens don't deserve anything but a quick ouster from the playoffs with the pathetic performance they've shown since the second period of game 1. Fleury looks like a gerbil on meth in goal...no composure whatsoever...and no help from the D. They are scoring enough to win yet giving up way to many bad goals. I was worried that they may have peaked too soon before the playoffs...seems to be the case. Disgraceful.

Sat beside a Flyers fan last year at a Pens - Rangers game at the Consol Center. He was a Flyers fan who happened to live in Pittsburgh. He bought season tickets and would go to the games of his choice and sell the others. He and I had a great and believe it or not very civil conversation on anything and everything hockey. It was pretty cool. I was glad the Pens were playing the Rangers. I don't know how civil it would have been had they been playing the Flyers though.
