And unfortunately the teams that have done the most shit-reffing in round 1 moved on to round 2 (well most of them anyway).


How bad have things have gotten where things look like the Flyers have played good clean games and everyone else is an asshole?

i tell you, it's very weird how my hate for the Flyers, which i once harbored very heavily, has dropped way down since the rise of the penguins.
man, the rangers best not underestimate the caps, Semin is another guy that can bury you quickly, not to mention the other great players
on their team. Rangers in 7, and i'm calling that they lose this first game today. if they are going to split i'd rather have the rangers win game 2 and go on the road with some confidence to washington.

pure guts performance by a very tired ranger team. 14 shots on goal for the whole game,
you couls see them lunging and stretching after pucks more than skating to them.
they were gassed and pulled off the win, and killed a huge 2 man penalty as well.
Caps had their chances, they only had 17 shots on goal, weird game to watch.
i honestly believe both teams had fatigue carry over from the 1st round.
Kreider, 2 weeks out of college already has 2 game winning goals, he is going to be a great player.

I'm sorry but the story of these playoffs, hands down, no contest so far, is the L.A. KINGS.
what has gotten into this bunch, great goaltending and more, they are going all the way.
i don't actually believe that, i think the Blues are still going to take them out, but holy fuck
batman, they are 4-0 on the road so far this playoff season

the caps outRangered the Rangers last night. Ovechkin with 13 minutes of ice time? Hunter has them playing
defense, and it's working. i though the call on Richards that led to the go ahead goal was pretty weak but you cannot complain
about the refs , they're always gonna suck. Caps did their job, now the Rangers have to do theirs and split in washington.
The rangers didn't play poorly last night, i still think they can win this series, but it probably will go 7.

WHAT A GAME. TRIPLE OT. And again another shit call on richards with 3 leftin the 3rd which almost led to this game ending in regulation.
both goalies ran a clinic out there. the rangers looked alot more in shape than the caps in that 3rd ot, they dominated it.
big win, and a big loss, always tough to lose one like that, i'm so used to being on that side, and now i'm not
big joint being twisted now to celebrate. a real big one.
