Bobby Orr and Nick Lidstrom to me are the bets two ever to lace em up. I won't compare the two as they played in different era's. Larry Robinson, Brad Park and Denis Potvin are up there but not in the class of Orr and Lids...in my opinion of course

i think brian Keetch was better than brad Park, but there is no contender to bobby orr.

Even if New Jersey were to lose 4 straight in games like that it would not be an insult. I'm not saying that is going to happen but sometimes games are awfully close - it doesn't feel any better to lose them though.

Who knows how the rest line up but definitely Potvin, Robinson, Lidstrom and some other fellows from back in the old times like Doug Harvey. Ray Bourque was over-rated his entire career in my opinion.

I'd take Fleury over Vokun any day of the week. Shit, the boy won 37 games this season. If you think Fleury's soft goals piss you off, wait until you see how many games Vokun gives away. I always looked forward to the Pens playing the Panthers and Capitals with Vokun in goal. You could always bank on Vokun giving the game away at some point. I'd like to have a dollar for every time I've seen the Pens chase him out of the goal. I think this year it was painfully obvious how bad the defense was. Michalek and Martin are pure trash defensively especially as a pair. I thought the fourth line was pathetic too. The only bright spot to me was Joe Vitale's energy, but his production is right there with Asham and Adams, not worth jack shit. Crosby looked like shit too, but I'm sure he's got a big pink elephant in the back of his head literally. Despres looks good and so does Strait, I'd damn sure give them a shot on defense this year and move Martin for sure, but I'd love to see Michalek moved too.

man i dont think ive seen a playoff run this dominating, even from the wings or avs. Maybe the islanders or montreal but that was before my time, lol. If LA wins tomorrow, they will have gone 16-2, including 11 wins on the road. Holy shit. That is domination. They are also the first #8 seed to beat the #1,2, and 3 seeds in a playoff run, and also the first to go up 3-0 in 3 straight series since montreal did it in 75 or some shit. Wow.

If the Kings sweep the Devils, they will tie the 88 Oilers as the most dominant playoff run in league history. Having seen them dismantle my Canucks in the first round, I suspected they would go far, but I didn't expect them to go on that kind of tear. It almost seems like a fated thing...

The Kings have certainly been impressive. I think it's obvious this year which team really wanted the Cup more. Very impressive to say the least. At least it will be cool and fitting if an underdog 8th seed wins it all...

We'll have to agree to disagree on that...and Vokoun has also had some stellar games against the Pens while in FL. Bottom line for me is that Fleury has a ton of talent but may have the weakest mental game of any starting goalie in the league. Yeah, he can come up big, but he also gives up some of the weakest goals I've seen. I've said it for years now...trade his inconsistent ass.
