Live your life like you're going to die your own death

It was my first time seeing them live, and it was a damn good show. I'm still pretty psyched that I got to see them. They spend their first 5-6 minutes onstage talking and joking around but that was expected. Satchel played a hot pink tiger striped Kramer the whole show, it looked killer. I was to far back to get any decent pics. The opening act (James Durbin) who I've never heard of before was a decent band too. I just found out he was on American Idol... I don't watch t.v. and if I did I wouldn't watch that shit show so I would have never known anyhow. But they can definitely rock, and they didn't take any shit from the crowd which was nice too see. A couple of guys were flicking them the bird so they dealt with them as they saw fit. They also played a cover of Rainbow in the Dark as a tribute to Ronnie, which I thought was performed flawlessly. It was the best show I've seen in a while, highly anticipated and I wasn't disappointed. I catch a lot of flack for liking hair metal bands but these guys rock! Some guy has the whole concert on tha tube...

Steel Panther is a great show, used to see them regularly when I worked in LA a few years back. A little less smack-talking and more music-playing would have been better, though there were a few worthwhile times they somehow talked random hot audience chicks into doing stuff on stage for free that strippers and porn stars get paid big bucks for.
I remember when they were called The Darkness. Novelty acts...how cute and entertaining. Kinda like gettin' a beej with a chick with braces. You do it..get thru it..it's amusing. It's nearly worth it.
