This stuff just doesn't do it for me anymore. It used to be my favorite stuff BTTD. I'm not the same guy, and this shit is like watching paint dry."Bill, Smoke a Bowl and Crank Van Halen I, Life is better when I do that"
Donnie Swanstrom 01/25/06..miss ya!
"Well, your friend would have Bell's Palsy, which is a facial paralysis, not "Balls Pelsy" like we're joking about here." Toejam's attempt at sensitivity.

Their assertion isn't that his actions caused their decline from their peak, it's that the past few albums (beginning with O:MC2) wherein he completely commandeered the writing/recording process had continually sold poorly, each worst than the last, resulting in a devaluing of the brand combined with his other actions (i.e. - Queensryche Cabaret, telling audiences they suck, etc.).
Again, no. His claim is that *Rockenfield* told him, "We just fired your whole family, and you're next." He then *tried* to throw a punch but was restrained. He then "pushed" Michael Wilton as he passed by him.
Unfortunately, everyone else that was present from band members to road crew present a (consistent) different version of events. Perhaps you should re-read the declarations? You appear to have gotten quite a few points wrong, no offense.
And how many bands from their era still sell high record sales? None? Zero? No management could prevent them from peaking then dropping off in the decades that followed, even though shit like the Cabaret tour was retarded. To the opposite I'd argue that Queensryche has done better than the average since most hair-metal bands play club tours and music festivals now while Queensryche is still playing small arenas.
NONE of these bands sell shit for albums any more and rely entirely on touring to make any money.
And as far as the incident with the fight, well there's multiple sides to a story so we'll have to wait and see how it pans out in court. Personally I don't think Tate's % is enough to stop the others from using the name regardless of any factors at all, and we'll possibly end up seeing two versions of the band like we did with Ratt and a couple of others.

As for the Queensryche and Geoff Tate's Queensryche...I hope not. I blame Gene Loves Jezebel for starting that mess (though someone else might have done it first, I don't recall).
