This stuff just doesn't do it for me anymore. It used to be my favorite stuff BTTD. I'm not the same guy, and this shit is like watching paint dry.

Again, no. His claim is that *Rockenfield* told him, "We just fired your whole family, and you're next." He then *tried* to throw a punch but was restrained. He then "pushed" Michael Wilton as he passed by him.

Unfortunately, everyone else that was present from band members to road crew present a (consistent) different version of events. Perhaps you should re-read the declarations? You appear to have gotten quite a few points wrong, no offense.

And how many bands from their era still sell high record sales? None? Zero? No management could prevent them from peaking then dropping off in the decades that followed, even though shit like the Cabaret tour was retarded. To the opposite I'd argue that Queensryche has done better than the average since most hair-metal bands play club tours and music festivals now while Queensryche is still playing small arenas.

NONE of these bands sell shit for albums any more and rely entirely on touring to make any money.

And as far as the incident with the fight, well there's multiple sides to a story so we'll have to wait and see how it pans out in court. Personally I don't think Tate's % is enough to stop the others from using the name regardless of any factors at all, and we'll possibly end up seeing two versions of the band like we did with Ratt and a couple of others.

Eh, I disagree. Plus, the proof is in the pudding here: the band, with the new singer, has attracted financial interest in the way of dates (at the same or higher rates), management, etc. I don't think the band is blaming Geoff for the record industry fallout so much as the humiliating reception (and sales) of their past few efforts.

Not really, there's two apparently: Geoff's and everyone else's. Reminds me of the South Park episode with the fishsticks joke and Kanye West. ;p

As for the Queensryche and Geoff Tate's Queensryche...I hope not. I blame Gene Loves Jezebel for starting that mess (though someone else might have done it first, I don't recall).

LA Guns....that's the one right off the top of my head. Some country band... I'll bet somebody can list 'em all!

I know plenty have done it, I just meant the original band that did it. Gene Loves Jezebel came to mind, since they started doing it in the late 90's I believe.

I didn't remember them, so I checked them out on YouTube. They are one part "The Cult" (but neutered) mixed with one part "A-ha" (but gayer), employing Poison's hair and makeup people. A little warning next time!

Just saw "Eyes of a Stranger" video on Metal Mania. Makes me sad to see what they used to be. Oh well, put them in the same category as Metallica - my "once" favorite bands.
