No manufactured pop in the early 90s?

Apart from Take That (up the arse), New Kids on the Block, Bros, etc etc...

I know someone who has photoshopped his face onto an old Smash Hits poster of Jason Donovan, to remind him of the raging desire he had of getting Jason to ride him like Sea Biscuit. You only see it these days when he takes his Coral Sea Warrior off its hanger...
So I woke up,rolled over and who was lying next to me? Only Bonnie Langford!

    I nearly broke her back

You Americans only had grunge. We also had the tsunami of shite that was Britpop and the "Madchester" scene.

used to like hair metal, when i was like 10, then i heard unskinny bop,and wanted to jump out of a window. now its thrash, punk and anything else i like. grunge was not that great, AiC, Pearl jam and S.T.P were okay.nirvana is crappy at best. its like the 90's was a festival of crap, minus a few bands.
I want a guitar made of ALL abalone. That would be badass. All shellfish should die for my shreddage delight.

I don't want metal to EVER be mainstream again. Once the suits start sniffin' around, it will turn to vanilla shit within 5 years regardless of the genre/format.
          750xl, 88LE, AT1, Roswell Pro, SG-X, 4 others...
Stilletto Duece 1/2 Stack, MkIII Mini-Stack, J-Station, 12 spaces of misc rack stuff, Sonar 4, Event 20/20, misc outboard stuff...

Why do I still want MORE?

I'll have to admit, bands like Anthrax and Metallica ruined thrash for me, so I went off in death metal land.

Yeah well Anthrax got me back into thrash here recently with their last album!
