      Well, if you find a way to built it in specific shapes it might be a good way to produce "real" MOP customized inlays. Skulls, penii, boobs, pentagrams, etc. without having to figure out how to cut and size them after the fact.

        Maybe... but most inlays are probably cut by laser.

        I'm not sure it would be cheaper, it may actually be more expensive than real MOP...

              Cool find, I'm willing to bet it will get into guitars.
