Em.....nice guns and all.....but WTF does a civilian want, what is...uh...em....essentially, a military designed assault rifle for?......

What is the law out your way....surely 3 round short burst and fully auto is banned over there? Or if not you have to keep them at the range.

Right?.....Right?...oh my lord. You guys are NUTS!
You can't really be jealous of something you can't fathom.

Sweet AR 15's! I just sold mine a couple of months ago. I actually built mine though... You could build a pretty bad ass AR 15 for about $600 or even less.

This one used to be mine

I built the lower receiver and bought the upper receiver complete and put a quad rail handguard on it. So I "half-way" built it

I saved a couple hundred dollars doing it that way though.

We are free to own them and I like the AR platform.Just a good reliable gun good for hunting as well.
No you don't have to leave them at the range.
Any thing can be an assault weapon even a dinner fork so that is a moot point.
Just because it looks like a military weapon doesn't mean it is.

1 in 12 twist rate so no long distance involved whatever you hit it ripped a huge exit hole.
I did basic training with an A1. I still managed to qualify expert, but if I had A2 sights I would had a perfect score.... I got 39/40. I've owned a few Colt AR-15 A1's back in the mid 80's. A2 sights are a huge improvement for me.

Tommy, when I lived in Orange County there was a gun range somewhere close to you. You can go in, get a loaner gun, a box of ammo, and have at it.

I didn't have any interest in guns until about 2 years ago. My dad passed away an I inheritted his guns (a Luger and a Mauser). He never took me shooting. I didn't want to repeat that with my sons. It's family fun time

Put it this way. I have pitty on anyone who decides to invade the US. They won't have to worry just about the military, they'd have to worry about the civilians as well

Go get a copy of the movie Red Dawn and watch it

I made sure my AK-47 had a chrome lined barrel as well.

Tommy go to YT and type in Knob Creek gun range.
The place is awesome, when the main range goes hot hold on to your bloomers because several hundred machine guns start up all at one time.
I've done the close quarters sub gun competition and the jungle walk competition and placed in the top 5 a few times.
