They are terrible. They have robbed and F'd up so many cars out here. But they still hold a big reputation in the speed world. They basically cater to rich guys that can afford to spend 100k on mods for a car.Comment

They are famous for building dyno queens. Then they tried to buy and run the Sealy dragstrip and almost killed it. Thank god they don't run it anymore.Comment

The drink was the first thing to pop in my mind, then the car company. Hadn't heard of the porn star, I'll have to look her up.
I first heard of Hennessey about 20 years ago, it was a modified 3000GT (or maybe a Stealth, same thing), and thought they were reputable. But I've heard a lot of bad sh*t about them in the last few years. I was always biased toward Lingenfelter, his cars were N/A, and put down the times they should - no dyno queens. These engines weren't modified in house, Chrysler built them to Bristol's spec in the warranty shop and the engine numbers correlate at Chrysler to Bristol cars. i.e. if you buy one and go to a local dealer here looking for parts they will know what it is for and which special parts to order.
But don't get too excited about buying one, Bristol don't sell cars based on whether you can afford it.Comment
