Rock of ages was atrociously bad, unless you like to see songs from the eighties completely gayed up. I caved to my wife and took her to the dollar movies to see it. We walked out less than half way through. Even at the dollar movies, I felt ripped off.... Absolutely horrible, no redeeming qualities whatsoever. I'll watch horrible movies, because some find a level of genius in their absurdity(I.E. - the 3 idiots(Bollywood masterpiece(with a much better soundtrack)).
Spare yourselves from this abomination, save your time and money....Enjoying a rum and coke, just didn't have any coke...

For me movies are pure escapist entertainment. The more "artistic" it is, the less likely I am to enjoy it.
When it comes to "entertainment" then I find it very hard to be entertained by most things, it's all repetition, if I have seen something so many times it just doesn't move me. I watch about 500 to 1000 films every year so it's pretty hard to surprise me."There is nothing more fearful than imagination without taste" - Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

The problem is not the subject but how the thing is made. Someone from modern protestant society suddenly discovers that religion is bullshit (wow, what a surprise) and decides that the whole world should know about his big discovery in extremely dull manner. Yuk! And mishandling/lying about historical events is something I don't tolerate.
For example, here's a segment about Western "culture" from a film made in North Korea. Do I disagree with the "message" - no, do I have a problem about some of the statements which are simply false - YES!

That's why I love reading Borges rather than self-help books or listening to Brahms' chamber pieces rather than socially conscious pop music. The same with motion pictures, I'm interested in ideas, I hope the director brings me into his/her world rather I'm told about events in documental manner, I rather watch real documentaries for this purpose. That's why I think Elio Petri and Francesco Rosi were the greatest pure political film-makers, they weren't just stating their agenda and criticizing what they didn't like in simplistic literal manner, they focused on the film itself, creating a very eerie vibe, full of interesting images/symbols. I've stated many times how much I love Fellini, he wasn't shy of showing what he thought about the authority but he brings you into his crazy world, it's not about reading a story on the screen, you feel like you are in some wicked carnival. The same with Tati, Erice, Resnais, Buñuel, Bergman, Antonioni etc. who all created their very unique worlds.

the ZT movement has another little tidbit roaming the digital airwaves ( I really don't even want to look for it, sorry) which basicly let's them tell us how we should advance to a next level in humanity
but it comes down to replacing the old (in their mind 'flawed') indoctrination for theirs
From the top of my head (and I recall this pretty accurately) on a segment of pshychology, they state on the subject of violence, crime, etc,
that ALL is learnt behavior and they are sure that this starts from the womb (outside influences)
So therefore, they think it is of importance that during pregnancy, the child should grow/develop in an unstressfull enviroment
They don't say how they want to achieve that
...but luckily I have the answer:
The only way for a pregnancy to not have stressfull episodes, is to put the hormone craze broad carrying the little bugger anesticized in a sealed room
with controlled enviroment (sounds, lights "You shall do as we say/this is how you must live" messages) far away from everyday life
These LSD loaded fucks have shrooms so far up their nozes they actually ignore and deny the one thing that got us this far: Human nature
Therefore they do not have a supporter in me, but someone who'd rather die than follow their dream/new age-indoctrination
Don't give a damn which Goebbels they put in front of the camera to narrate half-truths/pointing out the obvious"There's nothing taking away from the pure masculinity I possess"
-"You like Anime"
"....crap!"

ahaa, I think this is in the second Zeitgeist film, "Moving Forward"... haven't seen it yet but went through it quickly on youtube and this subject seemed to be there.... the whole thing seemed to be some sort of post-modern sci-fi version of Rousseau fairy tail land for people who like to eat junk."There is nothing more fearful than imagination without taste" - Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
