Its safe to say, most if not all of us are metal heads to some extent. Here is a spot to post, if you are brave enough, the other stuff you listen to. Here is mine:

Disneyland After Dark... aka D.A.D, D:A, D-A-D, DAD: I loved their cowpunk sound of the late 80's. Their album " No Fuel Left for the Pilgrims " was excellent in my opinion.

    Dan Fogelberg

    Seals and Crofts

England Dan and John Ford Cooley

    America

    Steeley Dan

    Billy Joel

    George Jones

    Conway Twitty

    Jamey Johnson

    Christopher Cross

    Little River Band

    Simon & Garfunkle

    Supertramp

    Bob Seger

    Rod Stewart

Lou..I know "guilty pleasure" is a term..a cliche if ya will. But those two words should never be in the same sentence.

For Ex: Man, I feel real guilty for pleasing that 19 year old broad in the parking lot.

I know, the word "broad" dates myself, and you too. Kids don't talk like that these days...but they should.

But for Music...I like most classic rock shit. We were raised on radio, sometimes forced at work...for decades.

I don't like The Who. The bass player (John E Titwhistle) was good and that's it. Fuck Keith Moon...I prefer Bill Ward.

                    Donnie Swanstrom 01/25/06..miss ya!

I do like Conway Titty. He had great hair.

I'm also a HUGE Ron Jeremy fan, and voting for him 2012 !!!

Holy crap, you guys know of DAD? I thought nobody outside of Denmark knew of them.

Other than metal, I listen to a lot of blues and a bit of fusion. Pink Floyd is my all-time favorite band, though.

I saw them a couple of years ago. Those old fuckers absolutely kicked ass. Great show. Zakk Starkey was smokin'

DAD had a bit of a hit over here back in the day. Top20, maybe Top10? Can't recall the song, but it was everywhere on the radio & tv at the time. I didn't really like it or the video, so I never checked out the album.

Plenty of stuff I listen to would probably qualify, but I don't feel guilty about any music I listen to. I'm way beyond cranking my music at the lights to blow people's minds or to intimidate them with teh brootalz. Gettin' old and just don't care anymore. You're just as likely to find me listening to a documentary program on Radio National.
