Alcohol is legal and I never went to work drunk. Let's face it, the world is full of assholes and they'll still be assholes whether they drink, smoke weed or have multiple prescriptions from multiple doctors and are addicts. Just because there are assholes doesn't mean everyone is. People are going to smoke weed whether legal or illegal so why not legalize it, gain revenues from tax and save all the money used to half-ass enforce the law and locking people up for it..

Since the war on drugs began, there's more drugs, more prisons, WAY more police and lawyers... BUT, during the same time - most of America has been told to take pills for anything and everything(Big pharma is very against legalizing, because a safe natural alternative to the poison they're pimping would not be in their best interests)....

Today's the first day of legalization in WA.
No weed stores for a year, so you are still on your own as far as scoring any. It's also illegal to smoke in public (same as the open container law). Cops have been told to give warnings if you do smoke in public, but that will soon change to tickets.
Other than that, just another rainy day in Seattle
