Yeah, they had a deal from 10-11 last night. Supposedly they weren't going to sell them until 10, but when we got there at 9:55 they were already long gone. But they gave out vouchers for the same price, so it will be shipped in the next week or so. Also got an HP 3 in 1 scanner copier printer for $19.

I once worked with a guy from Ghana, Africa, and some local redneck chick asked him how they celebrated Thanksgiving in Africa. He said "We didn't kill any Indians."

I said "No, no, that was 100 years later. Thanksgiving is from the Indians helping us keep from starving to death when we first came over from Europe. After that, we started killing them."

As for Black Friday, I poked around TigerDirect's and WalMart's sites, but can't really think of anything I need. TD has a couple of low-end laptops for $150 if someone wanted what amounts to an under-featured/oversized smartphone with a 13" screen.
Hey, at least it can run Solitaire.
yeah, I forgot about that. Duh!! shortly after opening the thread, I started getting a chill and now its a full-blown cold. this thanksgiving will be spent indoors.

        Sam,

After driving all over town, best I found so far is a 40" LED LCD 120hz Westinghouse for $300 at Microcenter. Costco has the exact same TV for $350.

I just bought an AR 15 stripped lower receiver for my birthday a couple of days ago and I couldn't pass up the online black friday deals for gun parts. I bought a complete Palmetto State Armory Magpul lower kit for $120. It includes the M4 stock assembly with Magpul MOE stock and lower parts kit with Magpul pistol grip and trigger guard.

Anyone that has AR 15's or other guns should check out Palmetto State Armory's site today. Their having great deals on AR 15 upper's, AR 15 parts, ammo and other firearm related stuff...

Avoidding the crowds of idiots again this year. I've never went out on black friday, well other than going to a friends place to party. Not sure why, maybe I don't want to end up on the news getting tasered by the cops.
I want to go out nice and peaceful in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming and hollering like the passengers in his car.

That seems a great buy! I loved microcenter around here, but they went out of business. They always had the best deals for black friday.

I miss Fry's, but I guess towns aren't big enough for both of them.
