So, how does he keep any members? On any given forum there is only a relatively small percentage of people that post on a regualr basis. I don't get it?

He forces people to "post" there by keeping inflated numbers of "involved people". It creates the appearance of a very busy forum when most all the posts are fluff.

I just had a thought about this. Could this increase the amount of money he gets from advertisements? If I were a company looking to spend money advertizing on the web, I'd pay more for a site with lots of activity. Isn't this why Facebook was supposed to be worth so much money?
