i love fishing. i have had the good fortune to fish the long island sound, montauk, key west, fort lauderdale, and mexico (cabo).
Tarpons and marlins were the toughest to land. scratch that, i had a great white on the line once out in montauk, i felt like
i was holding onto a bus, and it quickly popped the rig and line. even when you don't catch any fish, you're still away from all
the headache people for many hours. its impossible not to have a good day out there.

I was banned a couple of years ago, because Tracy wouldn't respect the rules on a forum I'm an admin on. USAC had actually lost all credibility with me prior to that anyway, so it was no great loss.

What blew me away was that Tracy actually had multiple accounts on USAC that he logged in as (and may well still do), to keep things 'busy' and agree with himself. When you realise what's happening, it's easy to spot - these fake users post in like 20 threads in a minute, never post their own gear or pics and so forth. And these made up a large proportion of the 'active user base' for USAC. Plus he's the first to use somebody else's pictures, but then he'll lock his site to prevent others downloading them again.

Strangely, I met him in person in around 2004 and he was a really nice, hospitable guy. But something happens when he sits at a computer..

I was banned for a short time simply because I was friends with those guys and had tried to help Chuck a bit with his new at the time Charvel site. When I was reinstated, I chose not to return due to the propensity of fake user posts. Although I like Trace and never had any personal problems with him (in fact I visited his place a couple times in the past and he was a cool guy and gracious host...and I'd hang out with him again if I was back in the Boston area), my conscience wouldn't allow it. Unlike some others (Shawn ) who also don't have personal problems with the guy, as one of the more frequent contributors for a few years I felt like I was aiding and abetting the mass deception that was taking place. Maybe its just me but I felt like going there and posting was helping to perpetuate something that wasn't on the up-and-up.

One thing I find particularly funny is that there are a couple here that bitch and complain about USAC and have been banned, but now are using aliases over there. I guess it must not suck too bad if you go through the trouble of signing up again with a fake name, huh colorado? LOL

EOT I did it for a reason because someone referred me to all the bullshit he was saying. I was there like 10 days or so lol. It was only after tracy didnt have the balls to contact me back after sending him an email asking to speak directly with him. He instead wants to piss in his own little sandbox while pounding his chest and perhaps his dick to make himself feel good.

Like a lot of other folks, Trace invited me to his board when it first started. It seemed cool at first. Then you realize that he, more than anyone else, takes a LOT of little personal digs/jabs and stuff at folks. A lot of times he post that drivel long enough for the target to see it and then pull it. He must have a waterproof PC mounted in his shower so he can monitor the board at all times.

The first time I was banned for lack of posting. Some time after being banned, Trace sent me a message asking me if I would like to be restored. I asked him what had changed and he said nothing had, so I declined. More time went on and he asked me to rejoin again. This time I did agree to rejoin. This was during the time when Trace would post some really juvenile shit a hundred times a day and was posting as multiple identities that all seemed to really love his specific guitars and all had interests perfectly aligned with himself. Then there were all those stupid "guess who this is" threads - once in a while it would have been cool but there were like 5 or more a day. This time I got banned for making snarky comments about that and calling Trace out when he would talk shit about folks that weren't there to "defend" themselves. It was funny because I went back to look at posts that were made about me around the time I was originally banned and there were a handful of douchebag comments about me by Trace and others.

Somewhere along the way when I was banned the first time, Trace saw that I had an amp for sale he wanted on the JCF. While I was no fan of his board tactics, I am a fan of his money. So we worked out a deal and I have to admit he was totally pleasant and easy to deal with - I think we even spoke once or twice. It was bizarre because he acted completely different than on the boards. You won't have that problem with me - I'm an asshole in real life too.

In any case, I had no idea his site was still going - until I saw this thread I hadn't thought about Trace in many years. I guess I just don't really give a shit either way.

Trace disables the right click functionality on his forum , you can't grab any of his pictures and save them.

I haven't read the entire thread yet and someone may have already suggested this, but......

You don't need ANY special tool when right-clicking is disabled. All you have to do is left-click the image and drag it up to the browser's address bar (where the "http" and site address are). It will open the image on its own in your browser.
