i missed the islander-pens game, had a late day yesterday. i did see malkin get clocked in the face and then
another penguin rushing into his fight to help him. had to have been matt cooke. i must say it's fun
watching the penguins sweat even at the hands of the crosstown rival islanders who are showing alot more
balls than the fuckin' rangers.

one little punch on malkin and it turns into a 3 on 1. 3 game series now. all vokoun has to do is stop the pucks that he should stop and the pens will regroup.

Take away what I would agree is a bad call and probably nothing would have changed. Maybe there would have been a game 5, but SJ owned them in the regular season too. And it's not like the Canucks weren't whining and making excuses... Karma is a bitch.

I think he must not have been 100% last year because he was giving up a lot of soft goals in the last season... this is the first year I've seen Neimi play so well. Gomez completely changed the pace of the 2nd PP unit, even though he's not playing the kind of minutes he used to. Clowe was a clutch playoff player for us but Torres has definitely been an upgrade. Getting rid of Murray and Handzus, pushing Burns up front and getting Larry Robinson... Getting Hannan and Stuart has worked as well... There has been a lot of improvement over last year.
