  • It will be very interesting if both toews and bergy are out. Neither team has a replacement for that.

        • Last night is a perfect example of why you don't quit watching with a few minutes to go. I was shocked to see that there's no game 7 when I got up this morning...unbelievable.

              • what a tank job after literally dominating for 58 and a half minutes. that certainly was a bust.
had plenty of power plays to give themselves a bigger lead as well. that cgame could have been
4-0 after the first period, worse after the 2nd.

                • Congratulations Blackhawk fans!

They were just too deep really. Detroit has the best opportunity to send them packing and couldn't get the deal done in 3 elimination games.

I didn't have a good feeling after the first period where Boston kicked Chicago's ass in every facet of the game yet ended the period with only 1-0 lead. Green Giants (Chara) ill advised pinch let Toews past him and Rask let in a softie.

I thought when Boston took the lead in the 3rd they either sat back or Chicago woke up. I was thinking this will go OT for sure, so the tying goal was no biggie, the second goal so quickly was all she wrote. Sorry Boston fans...the better team did win.

                  • the hawks are clearly too much for anyone else. they are by far the best team in the league. there is no question whatsoever.
the bruins went on some run when it looked like they were long gone against toronto. something to say for that. awfully inspiring.
the hawks can score too easily when they want to, that was the problem.

                    • Should be able to keep most of the team this time, unlike 2010. Bickell is gone for $$ (rumors are Detroit wants him), and stalberg is prob gone too. Dunno how much cap room the hawks have, but leddy and Krueger were on entry level contracts, they'll have to be re signed. Emery, handzus, rozival and mayers were on 1 yr deals, they're prob all gone, unless they have some cap space.

                      • here's you cap and current contract Cliff

Bickell to Detroit I wouldn't worry about. It never fails whenever Detroit bows out earlier its always rumored they are going after someone who played well in the playoffs because most homer fans never pay attention to other players because they are not playing against Detroit lol. When Detroit is out (those who still watch) think they are on to something but people who pay attention to the other 29 teams in the league already know what Bickell is and he'll be available.

Yeah but you know how it goes- det could offer cash and then Chicago might have to match just to keep him, that could screw everything up. On a related note, why the FUCK are the hawks paying Steve montador 2.1 MILLION!!???

                              • The Pittsburgh Penguins have been eliminated from the Stanley Cup Playoffs in spectacular fashion in consecutive seasons.
