Now they need to get some good D-men since Pronger's probably never coming back and start rebuilding the team ever since management went full retard and traded away some of their best players a couple of eyars ago.
must be nice to be paid $1.6 million a year for 14 year jus to NOT play hockey for Philly lolshawnlutz.com

"Full retard..." I loved Tropic Thunder!Hear the universe scream
Bleeding from black holes
Whom horns careless
And whom God mourns

yeah hockey players are one tough bunch, but not always the smartest buncha guys out there when it comes to self preservation...I mean yeah I applaud him for going out there and playing in that condition, but he could have REALLY damaged himself in doing so. Fine line between tough and stupid. I'm gonna say Bergy toed the line on his decision to play like that.I live on the edge of danger facing life and death every single day.....then I leave her at home and go disarm bombs.

I agree it is tough and stupid but is just a hidden rule of hockey players that it is a form of weakness showing any signs of pain you can't shake off. I was taught at age 5 that you had better be really hurt if you lay on the ice and have play stopped...mommy and daddy are not going to come and kiss it and make it all better I only had one injury that prevented me from making the bench my entire life and that was a sprained ACL, ref blew it dead after I was failing hobbling back to the bench. I shook it off and played the rest of the game. Later after adrenaline died I had to go to the hospital, was on crutches for a week and missed 2 games and 3 practices....doctor was a pussy lolshawnlutz.com

Looks like some of the injuries are coming out now. Shaw had a sprained mcl, hossa has a ruptured disk in his back, bickell a sprained left knee, handzus had a broken left hand. Horton on the b's has ligiment damage in his shoulder. These are the only ones I've heard of so far. I'm sure there's many more. Its a complete catastrophe. But Im a professional, I can rise above it. that's pretty good. on a real note, the cup came back in worse shape after the rangers won in 94. supposedly
had to be refurbished like never before after they treated it so badly dragging it around the city, dropping it
and watching it roll down the street while trying to get in a cab, etc.Not helping the situation since 1965!
