As hard as ammo is to come by right now I think I'd pass on a slide fire. Now, if I ever pick up a Smith & Wesson M&P15-22 I may have to try one. I've seen a couple on 22LR platforms and that wouldn't hurt my ammo fund too much.

Very nice DRM! My USM4 lower came in today. Machine work is very nice, and the bevel in the magwell is beast! Mil-spec all the way even on the stock tube. Just put my new Windham lower on Gunbroker and I'm going to keep this one for my next build. Now if those three uppers I have on order would finally come off backorder...

Yeah, my dealer had to send in his FFL and transfer it to me. I just noticed a little while ago they had the black lower on their website priced at $395.95. Now the only one I see is the bronze one. I'm getting ready to order an OD Green Magpul MOE furniture kit for it for whenever my uppers finally arrive. I have an MOE set on my LE6920 and I really like that setup!

Nah, I know my FFL's info so I gave it to them and then I called my FFL and had him e-mail his FFL to them. They won't ship out the lower until your FFL sends them his information by either fax or e-mail. They have to have the transfer information before they can ship it out. My FFL only charges me $25.00 for transfers.

I did most of my communication with US Autoweapons by e-mail. They were surprisingly quick and courteous for a company that not many people have heard about.
