Scanias are uglier than my sister and thats bad.
730 hp doesn't mean all that much its all the the final gear ratios (trans and rear ends). I'm sure the Sacnias are meant for the flat land anyway.
Never see one of those up in the mountains of Eastern Ky hauling coal probably couldn't pull the hat off you head pulling a mountain with a load on.
My first tractor was a Ford Louisville line day cab short nose conventional with a 290 hp Cummins/10 speed trans.
Swapped the gears around in the back of the trans and I hauled 60 ton track hoes with ease up and down the mountains and would cruise all day long at 100 mph on flat ground if you wanted and pull interstate hills with out down shifting.
Last truck I drove was a 460 Cummins international with twin turbos and it had a hard time pulling tiny hills with 40,000 lbs on it.
