  • Super Bowl or Super Sham??

Does no one else find it odd that there was a big lead by Baltimore......the lights went out and the 49er's pull it to within 3 points? Okay, so maybe that isn't weird until you realize the point spread was amazingingly 3.5 with Baltimore being the favorite......and coincidenatlly, it took a self-inflicted safety by Flacco to get within that 3.5 points? Then there is the blatant holding call on Baltimore that prevented the 49er's from scoring on their last drive that was overlooked? Does it seem odd now??

I still want to see a ban on taking a knee and running out the clock in the last two minutes of a game.
Play it until the end mother fuckers.

On a lighter note, the guitar player for Beyonce was rocking a Jackson Rhoads. It was shooting flames or sparks and the smoke made it hard to see the headstock but it looked like it said Jackson to me.

If I'm not mistaken it was a RR1 as it was front loaded and neck-thru. To be fare, it was a surprise seing a Jackson on that very 80's moment with the sparkles and the fake solo.

sorry pal, you are wrong. the ravens were the underdogs, they were getting 3.5, and some book houses were at 4 by kickoff. even if the 49ers scored on that last drive, penalty or not, and converted a 2 point conversion,
the ravens would have covered regardless. if anything, some trillionaire from frisco who bet a few billion on the 49ers was on the verge of suicide after the runback touchdown to start the second half by the ravens, wired a few million into the head maintenance guys account and told him to pull the plug. now that makes more sense. every sport is about momentum swings and the power outage could not have come sooner for Frisco.

You are correct. I thought Baltimore was giving up the points. Maybe this is why I never won on a football card. -Lou

i do not disagree with your thoughts of foul play though. anything's possible with a corrupt corporation
                    such as the NFL.

                      Theory isn't too far fetched

Organized crime gangs have fixed or tried to fix hundreds of soccer matches around the world in recent years, including World Cup and European Championship qualifiers and two Champions League games, Europol announced Monday.

Anyone notice that for sports, no one ever says "hey tonight let's watch game 3 of the 1972 season for Team X", unlike for music you can watch Hendrix at Woodstock 100s of times and it never gets old.

i agree hendrix in any form, anywhere, never gets old, but have you heard of ESPN Classic? all the thousands of boxed sets of series past in all sports that are in stores? there's plenty of
throwback viewing sports lunatics. trust me. i'm one of those morons.

I thought the officiating overall was horrendous no matter who you were pulling for.
It was just an ugly game to watch!
