    Dallas people,,, in here please



    I had a guy hit me up about a craigslist ad I have locally( in Alabama) for my RME hdsp9652 soundcard I have listed and wants to send me a Postal MO.

    Is anyone familiar with Chuck, from HotTrax Studios? I don't know if it is a scam or what,, but he shot me a phone number ( I left a voice mail) and it has a dallas Area code,, but doing a search I can only find a Hot Trax rehearsal place in the Garland area but I don't know if that listing is even valid.

    Anyway I figured one of my brethren here might could tell me if this guy is legit

    I've had offers to for CL ads I've placed, to ship. Have him send the money Postal MO, it's as good as cash. Cash it, then ship it. That protects you from scams. Those are my terms to ship stuff like that.

      Yeah,, that's what I put in the E-mail, send me the P.O.M.O. when it cashes I'll send it right then while I'm out, casue I've read that even the Postal M.O.'s have been counterfeited. Granted they won't cash, but all the same... I was just wondering if anyone around there knows of him/them.

          Garland is just east of Dallas, they all run together...and yes, fake stuff WILL cash, but you'll get it back after a week or so..so give it PLENTY of time to clear before mailing.

            Yeah, I looked closely at it and there is an adjoining building - the owner's name is Chuck Frizzell, looks like he also owns a bail bonds company, Ensearch, which is also at the same address. http://www.superpages.com/bp/Garland...0138057763.htm

              I have a buddy that knows him. They aren't close friends but he said the deal will probably be fine. Still get a US Postal Money order. You can determine authenticity easier.
