Anyone know of an online retailer that offers download instead of buying the physical product? I want to put movies on my iPhone that iTunes doesn't have and I'd like to just download it to my phone without having to also buy ripping software and key.

Not sure with the iPhone, since they like to lock their stuff to iTunes format.
If you've got a gaming console and a decent video capture device, you can record a streaming movie from Netflix and then try to dump it as a compatible format.
Microsloth's proprietary video service app on the 360 does offer the option to stream or download the movie with either rental or purchase. Not sure about the PS3.
However, you'd still need a video capture device to get it off the console to your PC and an editor to convert it to an i-friendly format. Most capture boxes do include a decent video editor program (Premiere Elements or Cyberlink's stuff).I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood

Just download MP4's, run itunes, add them to itunes and then sync with iphone/ipod
