The 22 is what you want for a long gun. The resolution on the 24's falls apart on anything past 6x. I ran a PVS-22 with my M110 and it was great. The 24 was made for use with the 4x DOS' found in the Block II of SOPMOD.

Ah, either way, that's so far past any budget for a bolt gun that I could justify spending. I'm lucky to have that. The most I'll ever do is hog hunting with it.
