  • my yahoo email got hacked and...

So I logged into my yahoo account on the 25 (well attempted to it was locked out) and after jumping through hoops was able to get in and found that there had been about 60 spam emails sent from it. Now working in IT if this was an end user I'd be suspicious as to what sites they had been going to, but since it's me and this is not a machine I go to any strange sites on (and actually not lying) I'm not sure how I managed to get the account hacked but it was. I think Sully was the only one from here that was sent an email (and hopefully was caught by yahoo before it went out)

So after dealing with that I got so pissed off I decided to finally start refinishing my model 2. For some god awful reason I'm going with a sun yellow. nothing more metal... er mellow... err.. shit.

    Anyway.

So anyway I do have some good news though kind of the worst time of year for it (mom passed away almost a year ago) my brother who had been living with me has finally moved out. my house is now my home.

I've already put up guitar hangers in the living room and actually like i said started this project refinishing the charvel so..

Although I am once again unemployed for the first time in a long time I am actually very happy. Now if I could get work I might actually manage a some what normal life just in time for a midlife crisis

I've contacted Dave about the pickup ring, the only issue I'm running into is finding a licensed floyd with a 42mm block (Which is what I think I need for the recessed bridge correct?)

The 17th I'm having a get together, will see how many of my friends make the trek out to Newman but at least now I have a guest bedroom
In the future though I need to remember to not buy guitars while on Nyquil

no joke. I have a barn and cattle for a back yard neighbor. this is a total dairy town. not far from Modesto but still feels like out in the middle of nowhere. It's quiet though I'll give it that and I kind of like that part of it. This is why I liked it when I was working in Pleasanton, civilization of sorts.

Speaking of emails.....there is an email being sent out with the subject: " Open file to see Whoopi Goldberg naked ". If you open the file, you will find.....that you actually see Whoopi Goldberg naked. You were warned. -Lou

One of my grade school buddies moved back here from Patterson late last year and he got tired of it after a little more than a dozen years. I live in Mtn View, everything is pretty good over here except for the cost of living.

I grew up in Livermore working in Santa Clara and Bishop Ranch etc moved here in 2002 and if I hadn't bought this house I'd be doing my best to making my way back to the bay area. I miss frys electronics... scary to say considering I remember that horrible horrible frys back on (was it Mission? what's the cut over from 680 to 880... anyway) i miss chinese food and blonds and pale skin red heads and bart into the city.

newman is ok and quiet but it's not civilization.

News Flash: Everyone's Yahoo Mail account was hacked some time ago. I got emails from long-dead Yahoo accounts that were hacked.

But anyway, aside fom the bad news, congrats on the good news
