It was that dirty bastard Neely who hit Ulf's knee. Ulf's reputation as a consummate sportsman was impeccable.

And the Pens won that series 4-2 (as they did the following year)...no way Cam makes up that difference.

That was ages ago and yes, still a clean hit to me.

The game is for big boys and I'm sick of the wussification. If you have a different color sweater on you're going to get hit. Leave the vaginas at home and take the fucking hit like man. I don't care who you are, how big of a star if you take a hard hit its your fault. One should not have to drop mitts on typical hockey hits. That s what we've been seeing the last few season in the pussy league we call the NHL. I played at 5'10 170 in an era where big jolly green giants 6 ft + and 200lbs + and took few hits but never once thought about dropping mitts just because I got hit. If I wanted to compete I had to take a few hits now and then. I actually liked seeing a team all with knuckle draggin oversized D man as they were easy to walk around but tough along the wall This a game where you can't play in fear. You have pads on for a reason so use them. If your teammate takes a clean hard it its part of the game...now cheap shot? its on but that too is part of the game.

And it's only going to get worse as the season rolls by. I honestly can't think of more than two games in a row where they've played their system the whole game. And I've lost count of how many times this season they've changed their system. If you ask me their system now is turn it over at their blue line and watch the other team makes them pay for the mistake.

Bylsma has no control of this team, and until the inmates quit running the asylum it's going to keep happening. They are going to get pounded tonight, and will continue to get pounded until a coaching change is made. I'll wager Toronto wins by a touchdown...

Hey, at least I called the winning score by a touchdown. Yes, there's no way in hell I thought they would pull a win out of their ass when they went down 4 - 1. Finally Malkin has started playing like the salary he is getting paid to play. Letang and all of the defense except for Despres looked like shit. Letang is looking like a waste of his salary cap hit so far...

And once again, it takes Bylsma two periods to get this damn team reigned in. Fleury was hung out to dry, but at least the team responded after it looked like they were going to hang Zatkoff out to dry too.

I don't think it's that bad bro but losing Scuderi and Martin certainly hasn't helped. Especially with Letang being one of the worst offenders when it comes to turn overs in his own end or near the blue line. At least Geno finally seems to have gotten his game back. It looked that way last night anyway. He was great against Toronto.
