The Brad Richards deal is the one I really scratch my head over. He's been such a waste for the Blueshirts, and of course they're stuck with him because no one in their right mind is going to pick up that tab. I'd say the Nash deal will work out, I would think he's worth the money in the long haul. They sure as hell gave up a lot for him though.

We will see. I think they were both bad deals. Too much money too many picks/players and not shit in return. Neither of them has yet to make a real impact for that team. With the amount of cash those two are being paid they should be doing a hell of a lot more and a lot better as well. These guys are getting big money, the top 15% of the league money and they've got like 35 points. It's a joke bro just like I said. They made horrible deals for over rated players who never really did anything in their careers. Granted Richards enjoyed limited success in Tampon Bay but he hasn't done shit since he's been acquired by the Rangers. At least he hasn't done anything in my opinion to warrant the huge salary he garners.

that's because Sather has been done at puitting together a team for many years. but the cool part is that even though they suck, they are still the 2nd most valuable franchise in the league after the Maple Leafs, not too shabby for a team that hasn't won in forever, and they will always be cooler than the pens!

"Cooler than whoever" is all subjective to what ever you personally think. I think building a good team from draft picks and making smart moves at the trade deadline as well as having a team that actually"Wins" is cool. Not being worried about what a team I don't own stock in is worth. Stanley cups and long playoff runs are cool not sitting the playoffs out damn near every year. But it's okay they're the second most valuable team in the league "so you've got that going for you" Carl Spackler!

I don't know about all of that greatest city in the world stuff. I've been all over this planet and Moscow is really cool and so is Paris as well as Monaco to name a few. I've been to New York quite a few times and it is pretty cool and so is MSG but I have been to at least 20 other cities that are cooler. Crosby is a huge vagina but that vagina scores points and wins games. As far as the biggest crying and diving douche bag to ever hit the ice goes that's W. Gretzky. Hands down the single most protected and coddled player to ever lace up skates. Let's also not forget about John Tortorella he's a giant screaming pussy on the rag who never stops crying either.

How about that huge vagina Cindy Crysby...Did you see the way he scored the game tying goal with 53 seconds left and then scored the game winner in the shootout? And once again he's made it to the Olympics where Canada's team lineup make me think Team USA and Russia stand a good shot at gold this time. Team USA beat Canada for the first time ever in a prelim game in Vancouver and for the gold medal match Canada won by only one point in OT, and that's after fun with the fact that 3 out of 4 refs were coincidentally Canadians.

At least with the Flyers doing better I can pray to the hockey gods to deliver a Flyers-Pens playoffs this year so we can have a return to awesome playoffs with two teams that truely hate each other.

I am 40 and I know the Flyers are probably the most hated team in the league, but the Flyers and Pens really really hate each other, and are like "I'll fuck your wife and send you pics right before a game" levels of hate, and it produces some of the best playoff hockey because of it.
