Letang (which means "the tang" in French) placed on IR...not a good way to head into the season

Letang actually means "The Pussy" in French! I am not one of his fans. He was a major defensive liability in the playoffs last season in my opinion.

Flyers are 1-6-1 on the preseason and can't even beat the Leafs in their season opener.

My season starts tonight! Of course we usually stink it up in October...

Hawks off to a good start, looked good and kept most of the team intact, unlike 2011. Biggest??? Is gonna be Crawford in goal.

My season got underway last night as Detroit got a regulation win and 2pts against Buffalo. I'm really stoked about being in the east in a division that has 4 of the original 6 teams. Problem is I don't know the east as well as I did the west opponents so its going to take a while to get a grip on.

Glad to have real hockey back on the ice. I like the hybrid icing rule, shallower nets (more room behind the net) and a little bit smaller netminder pads.
