It's the playoffs. As much as they say they don't treat the length of suspensions as if the games are worth more, they totally do.

Another heartless, gutless game for the Pens...did anybody tell them that this is the playoffs? I've never seen a team play such a casual, sloppy mess of a game at this time of the year. And why have four forwards on a penalty kill with a 2 goal lead???

3 playoff games is about right and what I thought he'd get. Playoff games are worth more than regular season games so this is really like a 6 game suspension. The real question will be if Backes can go or not tonight.....fuck Seabrook I hope he watches a sweep myself.

pens up 2-0 at home. loss!! rangers up 2-0 at home. loss!! buzzards.
the hawks are still the world champs. they could of won game 1 easily 7-3 but miller stood on his head.
that series is not over.blues are a snakebitten bunch normally.
kings dismantled. ugly.
avs are skynet west. so are the ducks but dallas has hung around in that series . skynet east, the bruins, will move on too of course.

Shouldn't have gotten any. Backes got caught hunched over looking for the puck and got destroyed. Neither ref had his hand up until they realized he was out cold. Then, because it's the no hit league, they had to give seabrook 5+ a game, which now pretty much means automatic suspension. Shoulda been 2 for interference at most. Not to mention the other shitload of calls against the hawks in both games. Oh well, I'm confident they'll take the next two.

Hands down the worst "coach of the year" I've ever seen. Bylsma should have been fired last season. Letang should not start another game this series at all. Crosby has been shut down by Dubinsky. If it weren't for the power play Crosby wouldn't have a point. Neal's his typical hidden playoff self, and Jokkinen and Scuderi looks like a turtle's on the ice. It's a shame Gibbons got hurt, he and Sutter's line are the only one's showing a little fire.

No history of headhunting helped that. It could have been a shoulder to shoulder shot too but he got there late. The blues have forced the hawks to be physical and it is working for them.

oh, I know, according to "todays" rules, seabrook got a "deserved" suspension.... However, neither ref made any call on the ice until well after the hit. That is bullshit. Oh well, shit happens in the playoffs.

Edit: and you actually played, you know that backes got lit up because he was looking for the puck. Just like toews was against pitt. Kepp your head up doesnt apply in the nhl anymore.
