I dunno who those guys were in red and white at Joe Louis arena last night...but they sure as hell played a hell of a lot better than the Red Wings in the previous three games. Bruins were lucky to come out of there with a win. They got taken by surprise with Detroit's intensity.

If my numbers are accurate he's also has 8 giveaways in 4 playoff games compared to 56 in 80 regular season games and not one goal in his last 9 consecutive playoff games. Haven't seen much of the series myself, but it sounds like Columbus is knocking him senseless and getting away with it from what I've heard/read.Originally posted by goodwood View PostCrosby's +/- is really shining.96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.

Boston turned up a notch or two about the mid point of the game and really took over the game to my eyes. Boston is the best team in the league and for Detroit team half full of kids its too much of an expectation for them to play a perfect game...case in point on the tying goal Kindl doesn't force outside and play his man hard enough and Nyquist playing the puck instead of the man.
95% Boston closes it out tomorrow, Detroit sucks in day games and on NBC, they may as well bring their golf bags instead of hockey bags The 2013-2014 Detroit Red Wings begin they golf season on Sunday morning.
I expect a big push of pride tomorrow from the Wings but also anticipate Boston upping their game as they know we'll be ready and that the 4th win is the toughest win in a best of 7 series.shawnlutz.com

I think Detroit is playing really well even when they don't win. Great scouting brings in these people nobody knows and a great coach manages the team on the ice.
Boston really is a good team and they look like they have been together for 5 years...come to think of it, many of the key players have been. When Ottawa let Chara go and kept their other defencemen, it was the worst move they have ever made...not that they have made many good moves aside from holding Yashin to his contract.
I f'n hate Montreal.
The +/- comment was just me being a Pittsburgh pest...I'd rather be off waiting for my Richard trophy than be on the Pens getting punked.
I wonder if Yzerman is thinking that he should have treated Martin St. Louis better...I mean really...they wouldn't be already out if Marty was still there.
San Jose looks like the real deal - they have looked like the real deal in the 1st round before but they may actually be real this time.
I wish St. Louis didn't have all of the injuries - they aren't done yet but man, injuries one after another. My Duncan Designed pickups are way better than Seymour Duncan regular pickups you fanboy.
Yeah...too bad the forum doesn't have a minimum IQ.

And yeah my B's outplayed the Wings from 3/4's of the way through the 2nd on. But, the INTENSITY that the Wings had was WAY more than at any other time in these playoffs. Completely took the B's by surprise. Claude made the necessary adjustments and the Bruins executed to those adjustments and pulled off good win.I live on the edge of danger facing life and death every single day.....then I leave her at home and go disarm bombs.

I've got to give Columbus credit where it's due, they sure as hell want it more, and are playing like it. All Sid seems to do now is skate around yapping it up to anyone who'll listen.
Gone are the days when Sid just shuts up and plays like he used to do against Derian Hatcher and the Flyers...

san jose the real deal? if the kings win at home tonight and force a game 7, we all know what's gonna happen up in san jose don't we? that puck will turn into the size of a marble and the kings will advance. the blues are a snakebitten franchise, the hawks look like the hawks again, rangers-flyers will go 7, the jackets I think have shot their wad, I don't want it that way but I have a feeling the waterfowl close them out, I hope im wrong as can be. the ducks decided to play hockey with 2 minutes left last night and won, they are pretty fuckin' scary. and I don't think marty st. Louis would have made that huge of a difference for tampa good wood, montreal owned them from the door. Not helping the situation since 1965!
