You and a few people in Chicago are the only ones who might buy into that nonsense. You can dislike Crosby for his antics, but you can't deny his talent without looking like a complete tool.

I never denied his talent...very talented guy - just not as good as Toews. Even though he gets credited with assists when he is on the can, that doesn't make him better than Captain Chicago.

I've called you out on your assist BS before and you've failed to back it up...how is he scored any differently than any other player? Examples?

And what makes him the better player? Stats certainly don't back your position up. Fewer goals and point per game over his career in both the regular season and even worse in the playoffs. Your bias makes you look silly...opinions are all well and good, until they aren't supported by anything factual or evident.

Examples? As I said...he can get credited with an assist if he is having fries in the press box. It wouldn't surprise me if he has been credited with an assist while on I.R. Assists weren't always dispensed like candy and after all a player can make a fantastic pass and it isn't worth anything if the person on the other end doesn't score - so goals are the only thing that matters.If 3 players have 4 points each on 3 goals, that makes a 12 point night but it means S.F.A. if they lost the game because one of their opponents scored 4 unassisted goals (4 point night).

Better player: Well, Cros has had a stacked team many years and got LUCKY one time againt a Red Wings team that spanked them like toddlers one night and didn't show up the next night. Now that the Pens aren't as deep he is just a talented player...there are lots in the NHL.

Toews has dragged teams to victory at every level and (in case you don't recall) was robbed last year not even being nominated for league M.V.P. & also (in case you don't recall) has 2 Stanley Cups.Toews does have Kane but has never had a Malkin who saved Sid's azz about six billionty times in his career.

That's ok if you think I have a bias...some may agree (many, in fact) but it is more than clear that you are biased so at worst for me we are even on the bias front. At least for me I can admit the truth in front of me...like say, a high hit when there is photographic evidence.

Besides...what would you do come playoff time if I didn't show up and give you my honest rundown on your team & your Sid?

There is some validity in star players (Crosby) getting the benefit of doubt when handing out assists. I don't follow the Pens closely to know but I do remember Mario getting assists just looking at the puck going in...I think he got 10-15 more after retiring LOL.

On to round 2 guesses

Pittsburgh over New York in 6. Pittsburgh scores a record number of power play goals for a best of 7 series. After game 3 whenever NY gets a goal lead they automatically send a guy to the box, 2 minutes for taking a lead against league golden boy's team. 5 on 3's become automatic if NY has a 2 goal lead. Wild card could be King Henrik getting in that zone for 2-3 games and jump on the icebirds early.

Boston over Montreal in 7 in a brutally nasty series and one that will have most of my interest as I hate both fuckin teams with a passion

Chicago over Minnesota in 6, Blackhawks are awake now...Towes and Kane are alive. Towes one of best captains eve and always can up his game it seems. Kaner is dangerous every time he carries the puck..even if he's in a goal scoring drought.

LA vs Anaheim - who cares? Chicago crushes whoever comes. Travel is brutal in this series

i hope nyr can beat Pitt and Habs beat Boston. I'm going Chicago in 5, although the wild surprised me by beating the avs. Hope la/Anaheim goes 7 and they beat the shit outa each other.
