ok I'm in deep want of shedding the penguin albatross that's been around my neck forever, I really hate those guys, but that's not enough. honestly it's a long shot to take the waterfowl out. matter of hours now. im psyched.
Pens finally showed up and put forth an effort like they realized it was the playoffs. Crosby looked like himself and played a great game...but so did Henrik who made some awesome saves and pretty much single-handedly kept NY in the game. Fleury looked good...hopefully he can keep it together. Tonight should be a good one.
Chicago looks to be playing the best hockey overall right now...they're looking tough from what I've seen.
Super stars should be able to elevate, although I thought he looked a bit better yesterday its not like he's really playing all that bad, he's just covered real quick and isn't scoring Does he have an injury they are trying to conceal or is he's just not bringing it.
So far to me, Chicago Blackhawks look to be the best team in the playoffs. You have 3 world class players forwards with Towes, Kane and Hossa and in my opinion the best D pairing in hockey with Keith and Seabrook. Add Sharp and playoff performer Bickel in the mix that is a dangerous team on a mission. They have good shot at repeating.

He's looked like he's had something wrong...the first game against NY he almost looked drunk. Awkward skating and no jump, poor passing, lethargic. The way he played last night would indicate that it either wasn't an injury issue, or that he's healed up. Even though he wasn't impressive on the stats sheet, he was all over the place and creating opportunities. His lack of points is more a testament to Lundqvist than anything...he was on fire in goal.
