Glad to see the Montreal Dive eliminated but the NY Lundqvists. Those arrogant bastards after winning game 5 cancelled a Saturday concert because they figured a game 7 is a sure thing...
It was great hockey karma if you ask me. Montreal killed themselves by all the embellishments in the series. Last night I saw at least 4-5 real penalties that were not called because of their reputation of flopping.
I hate that team so much. I feel much better when they are out of it. I would love to see them lose in the first round and this year Tampa was nothing to them without their #1 goalie. Boston let them get beaten mentally...if they just stuck to playing maybe it would have been different. I didn't think New York could beat them but man, I am so glad they did!
My Duncan Designed pickups are way better than Seymour Duncan regular pickups you fanboy.
Yeah...too bad the forum doesn't have a minimum IQ.
Like everyone else, I'm glad to see the Habs take an exit. I never realized until this playoffs how much the Habs were hated across the board by us. That one whirling dervish save by Henrik was awesome last night. If the Blue Shirts can win the Cup there is no doubt in my mind that Henrik is the playoffs MVP.
id rather play the hawks to be honest. the kings are not a good matchup for the cupcakes. neither are the hawks but I'd really rather try to match the speed and skill of the hawks rather than get grinded into cupcake crumbs by the kings. rangers are the underdogs regardless who they play. I just don't want those monsters (the kings) getting any extra rest.
I think you'll be playing Chicago myself Tommy. I also feel that series really was over when Chicago came back from the brink of elimination and game 5. They have a handful of the best players in the world who can elevate their game when it is needed. They are deep so even if one of their key guys is shut down someone else steps up. Toews is the best captain in the game and Patrick Kane is clutch and will kill you, throw in Seabrook and Keith along with Crawford on his game its a pretty high mountain of doom to be climbing and O feel if they make it to the final they either sweep or win easily.
We still have a game to be played tomorrow and anything can happen but nothing will please me more than seeing 22,000 Chicago Blackhawk fans watch LA take the Conference title and send Chicago golfing....my gut is telling me its academic and Chicago has already won the West and will face NYR. I hope I'm wrong.
Watching that game last night I was scouting and thinking who NYR would match up against and neither one looks better that the other one. LA will pound the soft Rangers into the ice. Chicago will kill you with skill, depth, 4 lines, talent and Stanley cup experience. Take no stock in that as NYR really didnt match up well with any team they sent packing and they were some good teams too.
I want a LA vs NY cup final but its a slim shot. I think NY's only chance against Chicago is to get into Crawford's head and fuck with him from the puck drop in game 1. He has been shaky at times and really the only weak link in their armor...get under his skin and agitate him, put a few by him and he'll be done mentally.
Well, good luck tommy. Hope the rangers can get past the hooks, holds and bullshit interference and maybe win the cup. Good luck with the linesmen too. They obviously have no fucking clue what too many men or offside are.
Fuck LA. Go rangers. I'm out.
Its a complete catastrophe. But Im a professional, I can rise above it. LOL
