  • The reffing still sucks but who sucks worse...the refs or Rick Nash?

Imagine if the Rangers would have traded Nash for anything this past trade deadline.
My Duncan Designed pickups are way better than Seymour Duncan regular pickups you fanboy.

Yeah...too bad the forum doesn't have a minimum IQ.

    • As soon as the 3rd LA goal which I felt shouldn't have been allowed I knew right then and there what the outcome would have been. Poor finals no-show Brad Richards had the W on his stick too with about with 2:30 left in the third, and what did he do? H folded like a house of cards.

Warm up the bus LA and hire maybe 1 -2 of LA's finest for crowd control for the wild Stanley Cup parade around the Staple center parking lot for the 15,000 in LA who give a fuck about it.

Sorry Tommy but slime to no way in hell Rangers win 4 of 5 against LA, no way in Hell but take it up the ass one game at a time and try to save some face and win a couple here It looks like King Henrik needs shutouts for any NYR win....7 goals on 2 finals games?

      • The Kings have given up just as many in regulation!

Two back to back OT losses is hard on the soul, but it's so close and both could have gone either way. If you can dig yourself out of that whole it's a yarn for the ages. If not, just throw on game 7 from 94 to feel better.

        • Lol I was playing last night.. The bar had the game on. Wow. I told you guys the fuckin fix was in. Obvious goaltender interference, a missed delay of game in the 2nd overtime, and the same hook, hold, interfere bullshit that sank the hawks. What a fucking joke. Sorry tommy.
Its a complete catastrophe. But Im a professional, I can rise above it. LOL

          • how about kreider getting tripped on that breakaway? it happened. there were lots of no calls that sucked but it doesn't excuse the cupcakes for letting them off the hook. I have changed my mind about this. the kings are not god's gift to the NHL. the rangers can beat them, it's a fact. hopefully this turns into a home ice thing and they take both in new York, it's not a stretch at all.

              • Richards on the powerplay is a liability at best. Quick was the best player on the ice. it's more than likely finished now. they still beat the penguins though, and that made my hockey year!!! yayyyyyyy!!!!

                • Series should be 2-1 in favor of NY right now...poor officiating continues to affect the outcomes of games. The NHL needs a major overhaul of its replay system or just scrap it altogether.

                  • I think the Rangers are broken and I sure hope they can muster up some pride and win a game...I'm not ready to get into only the MLB mode just.

I dunno about it should be 2-1 series NY leading, in my mind game 3 was a good game for NYR and they lost 3 zip, they had plenty of opportunities but Quick was majorly on and better that Henrik was. The one and only reason NYR were in games 1 and 2 that went to OT was King Henrik, only one reason and the sole reason the Rangers made the playoffs, advanced and still playing.

The Rangers have a decent team but lets be totally honest, they currently are not cup ready team. They are a team with an elite netminder and hand full of solid players. LA is a deeper team any way you look at it. The thing that sets team apart is not their sizer, speed, physical play its the intangibles...the desire and ability to not fold/buckle up when behind and bring it up a notch or two...they refuse to quit and bring it.

                    • henrik was fine in game three, the kings goals were all deflected or had a fortuitous bounce. not his fault at all. the kings had a much harder road to the playoffs. they are clearly the better team, but the rangers could still be in this if they didn't fuck up both of those first two games. I said kings in five, it may be four. we'll see.

                        • Glad they pulled out a win last night.

If I were running the Rangers, Richards and Nash would both be gone as soon as this wraps up.

Yep. Both are absolute no-shows in the playoffs

                              • Richards on the powerplay is an atrocity, and nash isn't getting any time on it, he's snakebitten anyway. the rangers have a little less than a punchers chance, unless they find a way to squeak out a win tomorrow. if it goes to a game six then I will start spraying my shorts again, but right now they are still highly outmatched. they stole that game last night. too bad, this series should be 2-2- god damnit!
