Toronto isn't going to be leading the east come April, you can bank on that. Colorado won't lead the west either. I don't see much difference in strength between the conference..all have some strong teams and some weak ass teams who should probably be in eh AHL

For the West you'll have Chi, ANA and SJ.
Then there are also a couple note worthy teams in each conference who could make a good run. This is the NHL, you cannot look the regular season and assume the top seeds will always win the cup. Anything can happen in playoff hockey and any team who makes the cut has a chance of peaking or gaining momentum. Its all a matter of health, luck and a lower seed gaining confidence after knocking out a high seed. That's exactly it. That team was in a very sad state and how could anyone really know how the" housecleaning" would pan out? I think most people in Boston were waiting for the wheels to fall off but you gotta give them a ton of credit... they really fought for each other and finished the job.
